Most gutter repair calls in Wyoming describe one of four things: a run that sags in the middle, a corner that drips, water sheeting over the front edge, or a section that has pulled away from the house entirely. All four have the same short list of underlying causes, and the repair is only worth doing if it addresses the cause rather than the symptom. A sagging run that gets refastened to the same soft fascia sags again within a season. A corner that gets resealed while the run above it still holds standing water reopens the following spring. We diagnose before we quote, and that means checking pitch along the full run and testing the fascia for softness at each hanger. The honest version of this service includes telling you when repair is not the right call. A twenty-foot run with three open seams, reverse pitch and hangers that no longer bite is not a repair candidate, and patching it costs money that should go toward replacing the section. Equally, a single failed corner on an otherwise sound system is a repair, not a reason to replace the whole house. We have no interest in quoting a full replacement where a targeted fix will hold, and we will say which one you are looking at before you ask.
A repair visit starts with water. We run the affected section and watch where it actually goes, because the visible drip is often downhill from the real failure. You get a plain explanation of what failed, what caused it, and whether the fix is expected to hold for years or to buy a season while you plan a replacement. If a section has detached in a storm or under ice load, we stabilize it first so it does not take fascia with it, then schedule the permanent repair.

A run holding water is rehung to pitch rather than simply refastened.
Inside and outside corners are the first joints to open under freeze cycling.
Storm-detached runs and ice-loaded sections get stabilized before further damage.
Proudly serving Wyoming, Cutlerville, Kentwood, Byron Center, Grandville and Jenison for years.
Ten services, and the first three cover most of the calls we get: cleaning, installation and repair. The rest exist because a clogged downspout, a rotted fascia run and a February ice dam are genuinely different jobs, with different tools, different access and different pricing.

The ring around Wyoming is not one jurisdiction. Cutlerville answers to two townships, Jenison sits in Ottawa County entirely, and Kentwood and Grandville each run their own permit desk. We work all of them and know which door a job goes through.
Frequently Asked Questions
Gutter Services can be complex, and we’re here to provide answers to common questions. Here are some frequently asked questions from our clients.
There is no single figure, because cleaning is priced on linear footage, roof height and how much the downspouts have to be broken down. A single-story ranch with straight runs and two downspouts is a different job from a two-story with inside corners and buried discharge lines. We quote after we see the roofline, and the number we give is the number you pay.
Price follows access more than anything else. Steep pitch, second-story runs, and gutters that have not been touched in three seasons all add time, and compacted debris has to be bagged rather than flushed. Ask any company whether the quote includes flushing the downspouts to the discharge point, because that is where the difference usually hides.
Statewide averages are close to meaningless here because West Michigan roofs carry a heavier leaf load than most of the state and the freeze cycle starts earlier. What matters is your own roof: total footage, number of stories, downspout count, and whether guards have to come off and go back on. We price the house in front of us.
Clean the downspouts before the troughs, not after. Most homeowners scoop the gutter clean, flush it, and push the loosened debris straight into an outlet that was already partly blocked. Clearing the outlet and the discharge end first means the flush actually runs through. It is also the step that gets skipped when a crew is being paid by the house rather than the hour.
Installation is quoted on total run length, corner count, downspout count and material. Aluminum, steel and copper are three different prices for the same shape of job. The other variable most quotes leave out is fascia repair, and on Wyoming homes built in the 1950s that is a real line item rather than a rare surprise.
Seamless costs more per foot and removes the joints that leak first, which is why almost every replacement here goes seamless. The material is rolled to length on site, so the price moves with run length and corner count rather than the number of sections. On a house with long straight runs the difference narrows considerably.
It depends on what the fascia behind it is doing. If the board is sound and the sag came from hanger spacing or a failed fastener, the run can be rehung to correct pitch and will hold. If the board has softened from years of overflow, new fasteners have nothing to bite into and the section needs the board replaced first.
Usually pitch or outlet size. A run that is level or pitched slightly backward holds a standing column of water, so the next rain has nowhere to go and comes over the front edge. Undersized or partly blocked outlets do the same thing at the corner. Both are visible once we run water through the section.
We handle storm and ice-load detachments, which is the usual emergency here. A section hanging loose will pull fascia and drip edge with it if left, so the first visit stabilizes and secures it. Full repair gets scheduled once we can see the condition of what it was attached to.
From the ground, look for a run that has begun to tilt forward or pull away at one end, and for staining on the siding directly beneath the trough. Up close, sound board resists a probe and soft board does not. On homes built in the 1950s with original board and decades of overflow, softness at the low end of a run is common rather than unusual.
